The Strauss Society
i.e. Polish Society of Lovers of Strauss Dynasty Music
The President of the Society is Jerzy Sobeńko
The tenth Strauss Society in the world and the only one in Poland. It was established in 1996 out of the need to popularise the music of the Strauss family and to spread information about the life and creativity of its members.
The official seat is, thanks to the kindness of the Management of the Cracow Saltworks Museum, the Saltworks Castle.
Currently, the number of members exceeded 400 individuals and is constantly growing.
