Exhibitions – Salt Mine (level III)
The underground exhibitions of the Museum comprise one of two parts of the historic salt mine in Wieliczka which is open to tourists.
For the price of one ticket and guide service, tourists may visit pits belonging to:
· Tourist Route (1st part);
· Museum (2nd part).

The Museum exhibitions make up one of the largest mining exhibitions in Europe, located in seventeen original pits:
· comprising a part of the salt mine in Wieliczka, which is over 700 years-old, entered into UNESCO First World Heritage List in 1978;
· located in the deepest (open to tourists) part of the Wieliczka mine (135 m under ground level).
The entire exhibition includes:
· Complex of Russegger Chambers;
· Complex of Maria Teresa Chambers;
· “Municipal” (Miejska) Chamber;
· Modena Chamber;
· Kraj Chamber;
· Saurau Chamber;
· Szerzyzna (The Widening) Chamber.
